Margaux de Valensart is a Belgian soprano based in Copenhagen.

After finishing her Master’s degree at Institut de Musique et de Pédagogie in Namur in 2016, she entered the Opera Academy in Copenhagen where she worked with Helene Gjerris (2016-2019).

As part of her studies at the Opera Academy, she had the opportunity to sing at Det Kongelige Teater. In « La Bohème » - G. Puccini as Musetta (2018-2019), in « Rigoletto » - G. Verdi as Contessa di Ceprano (2017-2018) and in a concert version of « Parsifal » - R. Wagner, where she sang 1st Blumenmädchen, 2nd group (2018-2019).

In 2018, Margaux became a « Laureate » of La Monnaie/De Munt in Brussels.

In 2019-2020, she joins the soloist ensemble of Det Kongelige Teater in Copenhagen where she will make her debut as Frasquita (Carmen), Ilya (Idomeneo) and Moira (The Handmaid's Tale – P. Ruders).

That same season, Margaux will make her debut as Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) in SemperOper, Dresden.

In 2019, Margaux was a finalist in the 38th International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in Villach, Austria.
